At a young age Hiram began treading in the arts through drawing.  He enjoyed drawing cars, trucks, buildings, etc. It wasn't until middle school that Hiram discovered a new talent, writing. During a creative writing class, Hiram excelled in stories and poetry. He explored it more in high school, but Hiram was not a fan of English. He was going to fail. The teacher told him on the last assignment of the year that if he got an "A" on it, she would pass him with a "C". The assignment was to write a story about a common object that you encounter during the day. So Hiram wrote a story of a fantasy about his girlfriend's shoes called "Huarache". The story amazed the teacher at his talent and she gave him an "A+".

After graduation, Hiram went into the military. His life there was an interesting one and gave him enough experience to write about in the form of poetry. He expanded on his poetry throughout those years and even after the military. It wasn't until the year 2003, Hiram decided to try screenwriting and short stories. He taught himself the skills to begin the journey of a writer. And with his boundless imagination, the stories he creates are endless.

Now with a few films under his belt, he has expanded his creativity into a production company, Blk Mtn Productions, a new company to expand on his vision to bring some light to the darkness of the industry one film at a time.
